I still ponder how the cinematic world would’ve changed had Sam Neill, and not Timothy Dalton, landed Bond after Roger Moore.

I recommend Omen III: The Final Conflict with Sam Neill as Damien. It’s a little slow but he gives a great, chilling performance.

Neill was great (and got to use his real accent) in the Taika Waititi film Hunt for the Wilderpeople. I recommend it.

I always used to find Sam Neill very boring, but I have come to appreciate him a little more recently...I wish there were more films where he could use his natural accent, I’ll say for sure Ewan McGregor using his real voice in Pinocchio made a difference, and that boring lump of clay who stars in Avatar also might…

In the DVD commentary for In the Mouth of Madness, Carpenter mentions what a good actor he thinks Sam Neill is & that he would still like to work with him again

Chase hit a low point when he was roasted on Comedy Central and saw first hand how much he was hated. You can see it in his face as he takes hit after hit.  And instead of reforming and trying to do better, he decided he was going to double down.
