I dunno, I’m not gonna claim the first movie was a passion project of his or anything, but you can tell he’s at least willing to put some effort in there. As opposed to everything else he’s done Ghostbusters-related since.

He gave enough of a shit to be funny. He gave less of a shit in Ghostbusters II and it was awful.

That’s who I thought was in the picture up top until I read the review. The one good thing in that ep was the flight attendant’s description of the latest uprising - “it was a bloodless coup: all smothering.”

Gonna hard disagree on that one.  The level of ominous tension that the soundtrack is bringing to the show suits the dark themes perfectly.

Fair enough and to each their own--I love it. It’s not particularly subtle, but I like both the contrast it has with more subtle allusions in the show and how it complements the comic tone.

I like the way it both calls back to the time period that fundamentally changed this society, and harkens back to a near future where tech could over power those who’ve spent so much time fearing it.

Maybe I’ll get round to watching this video, though I doubt it.
