Yeah, any mention of mental illness doesn’t excuse what she did. She used his mental illness and death for her benefit, almost in a Munchausen by proxy scenario.

She’s right. There are plenty of other great things to watch that aren’t CBS. CBS is producing stuff that their target demo (my mom) wants to see. They’ll probably keep doing that until people like my mom want to see things like Queen Sugar or Jessica Jones. More likely, they’ll just keep producing that Blue Blood

That is literally an over the shoulder boulder holder

If they don’t make the equivalent for guys, they’re nuts.

I have been reading through both those transcripts, and man, is it comedy gold. I mean, my favorite part is where Turnbull spends a good 75% of the call explaining to Cheeto Benito that he can vet the immigrants before taking them into America and then Trump goes, yes this is terrible, but what if I were to vet them

Even more embarrassing (moreso for O-Town) is that it was THIS concert, and we only got to hear about 2 songs. Good times.

Metallic, Guns N Roses, Astrodome 1992. Metallica opened their set with Creeping Death, the place went crazy.

Yeah one of the best Air Disasters. Extremely well done and well told. Show is still on the air — now airing season 17!

I made an excuse for her to have to go home.

My first concert was Foreigner, but the first concert I chose to go to was Bon Jovi w/ Skid Row. Yay 80s!

My friend brought a poster that said “DO ME DAN!”

Ha! Yes, they were my daughter’s first concert (not counting Bruce Springstreen, which we saw at an Obama rally when she was three, although she can and should count it when she realizes how bad Pentatonix is). I had to take her and they’re back this week but I’m making my husband go because I can’t sit through that

First concert: Beck, Goldfinger, Poe, and 311.

There are definitely more embarrassing first concerts. Like, say, the “person I know” whose first concert was O-Town in the early ‘00s.

I’m old.

My first concert was Milli Vanilli at the Delaware State Fair. That’s too good not to admit to.

My 15 year old loves Pentatonix. My first concert was Day on The Green at the Oakland Coliseum June 1983-The Fixx, Oingo Boingo, Madness, Thompson Twins and finally, The Police. Next Day on the Green was David Bowie, Serious Moonlight Tour, with the Tubes opening for him. I saw him again at Wembley Stadium in June

Yep, that awful feeling of “I should be having fun and yet...”
