It is 100% a natural, even biological tendency to avoid foods that made you ill. That's just how your body naturally tries to avoid new toxins in the environment...

And then you vote on the ugliest sweater!!
Well, if you look at the article, and the graph within, it's pretty clearly both.
As it comes around to the end it really hits home. Even with the pompousness of the quoted comment, he is pretty much spot on. Artists and programmers get far more formal training than game designers in general.
It's free for the publisher or developer, not the consumer. That's what he meant.
Oh I see. I didn't mean to make that statement if I did, I don't think there's an obligation for someone working in the industry to become a spokesperson.
That horrible attention helped draw positive attention towards her. I wasn't talking about all the negative attention though, she's getting plenty of positive attention. This very article is an example of that.
I agree with you, that other women taking direct action to make things better deserve a lot more attention. But they aren't going to get that attention unless the community becomes more receptive to what they're doing. That does require someone like Anita to educate people and put more clarity on the issue.
I read that article and I don't recall it being about everyone at Sony being a bigot. Nor have I seen someone make that argument, other than perhaps a troll. That kind of thing is nowhere near the same level of misogyny in the gaming community and industry. I think it's a huge mistake to focus on the tiny problem of…
Was he supposed to? He hasn't so far, since he's been working on The Cave.
How would it completely mess with everything?
In my experience, the changes you make aren't really sent to other players in the region instantly. An Undo button that is active for a short time after an action, or only recalls a few actions back should be no big deal.
Yeah I had this issue. I watched Lara get choked about 40 times before I got the right key. The odd thing was, hitting the LMB had the same UI effect as hitting F, minus completion of the QTE... Also, I've had later QTE's sporadically have the button indicator and others have lacked it...
What misinformation was there in the above video?
I don't care about any of that, this video was good and perfectly adequate for educating people. There's not really a big alternative out there, so anything is something.
*ahem* I definitely don't own both those games...
The problem is Diablo 3 sold a massive amount of copies, and SimCity is looking to do similar. A publisher isn't going to look at that as a reason to stop doing what they are doing. As someone said, too many people playing our games is not a real problem.
It doesn't help so much when your regions keep getting blocked off when you want to play. Plus, the whole playing with friends thing.
Much worse. It's real stuff, not some words on a comment page. I'm mormon, have been all my life. I don't go to church anymore or believe in it, but I'm still considered a mormon. It's disgraceful how the church treats women, minorities, and gays. I feel like my entire family is poisoned by mormonism.
I love the DLC. The only problem I have is that Battlefield 4 will come out and lack a lot of the cool, good features that DLC brought to Battlefield 3. I hate feeling like a sequel is a step back in any way.
