If this had happen during the Montreal portion of the Rays season, it would have been even more confusing because it would have all been in metric.

You are doing Star Trek fandom right.

You - make that sound as if they didn’t just randomly threw time periods and peoples into a pot and stirred.... :)
I can’t even tell you how many times my wife has asked me why we’re going a certain way and I reply “I’m doing what Google says”. It’s some Pavlovian response to Google Maps. The only time it’s gone disastrously wrong was when I was driving my car to a Best Buy and wondering why it had me cut through a park and into…
This is what happens when we don’t rake the everglades enough, duh.
I know a lot of people are going to take satisfaction and glee from this because of Marchand’s previous actions. But keep in mind.... just kidding, fuck that guy.
Trump, later, “Did you know there’s a thing called the European Union? Apparently all these big...places...cities...whatever you call them all got together and formed a group. “If you thought that turn on Game of Thrones felt rushed, surprising, or like it came out of nowhere...you haven’t been paying attention.”
So, after eight seasons, the theme of the show is basically “bitches be crazy (or victims).”
“no one knew that Cersei’s side had not only managed to get their hands on magical super-ballistas”
The writers give no fucks to internal consistency. Sure physics are off so both dragons should die in the ambush as the volley of super bolts takes both out. Or at the gate Cersei off’s everyone without hesitation. Nope we get super bolts are both 100% accurate and 0% accurate in the same scene and Cersei just stands…
This battle has been teased since the show began in 2011, so it needed to be unbelievably epic—more epic than all the other epic battles the series has given us. This was a daunting task, and Game of Thrones succeeded...
