That French guy was pretty popular there for a while.

"I'm Joe Rogan, and I endorse Ron Paul."
Thank you. I put a lot of effort into being the thinking person's laughingstock.
Well, they'd eat and poop like a normal horse, of course, of course. And since the engine could, with a little tinkering, divert some of the air intake to an injector pump that oxygenates the blood, you'd be able to remove the horse's lungs and install in their place a small plant that takes the corn in the horse's…
It's astounding how well he can use those two chords in so many different styles.
Yeah, I'm honestly surprised to learn I'm in the minority of people whose favorite of the two is Rich Fulcher. Not by much, but his delivery of every stupid, stupid thing that comes out of his mouth as if it were both the most obvious thing in the world and something he's just thought up is amazing.
For me it's the little things, like the cutaways to potted plants when they're overdubbing lines that weren't filmed on account of the ineptitude of everyone involved.
Will it play on a Mac? Because I use a Mac. They're much better for making my squirrel movies.
Wee-ooo-wee-ooo-wah-eee-ooo-ooo-wee-ooo-wee-ooo-wah-eee-ooo-ooo-wee-ooo-wee-ooo-wah-eee-ooo-wee-woo-ooo!
Of course not. That's what trade publications are for.
That would be great. The other problem I've had with Maco films, especially their infrared, is with their spotty quality control. Like, varying-thickness-of-emulsion-and-also-edge-fogging-and-their-canisters-can-pop-open-if-you-drop-them spotty. Ilford's shit on the other hand is made incredibly well.
"Objectively superior technology" wins because the trade media have a vested interest in convincing people they need it. Ergo, the "objective superiority" of digital cameras is an economic decision and not one based on which technology is better-suited to the aesthetics, budget and production restrictions of the film…
Orwo's black and white film is fantastic. I've used their 400-speed 35mm spooled into canisters in my Nikons. Before that I was bulk-loading 5222, but I was able to buy the Orwo for much cheaper, and you get an extra stop or so to boot.
Yeah, it's a little disingenuous to on one hand admit "35mm prints are easily damaged," and on the other to say, "I want a younger generation to love classic films … the only way we can do that is to ensure that 35mm never dies."
Captain Buzzkill here to tell you that most Soviet space dogs survived.
He pays their college tuition after four years of active duty.
I picked up Diaz only because the fake voice she used in the party buys reminded me that she also used one in the Jimmy Jabs. Even then, it was more of a hunch than knowing for sure.
"Hey, don't look so sad. Floorgasm is just a rudderless dance ship without you!"
Seriously. Although, if you're going to be a one-hit wonder, you could do worse than "Max Headroom."
Commenting on the A.V. Club is not playing, it is VERY GODDAMNED SERIOUS.
