Lets hope for 5/70 prints...

Thats how much money you have to cough up to leave a dealership with a box of parts.

I daily my 996 (only car I own) and not having satnav was pretty miserable. PCCM Plus (self-installed) is both convenient and totally undoable (and looks way better than the aftermarket single DIN unit the last owner had in the car).

And for this reason my E91 Touring will not be replaced by a new BMW any time ever.

I mean half the time I ship something with UPS their sorting software loses it anyways. Id rather take an extra delay so people arent dying of heatstroke even if 0 explanation was presented.

Blowing hot air in circles wont do much. The best case is isolating the cabin and giving it AC. FedEx does this for instance.

The new generation FedEx trucks all have AC, and all of the old ones had it retrofitted. DHLs fleet more spotty, but as far as I know most of their trucks and all of their vans do. USPS is the only other courier that comes to mind with no AC period.

“Its working I swear!”

UPS's union is a shell of its former self. Hasnt meant much since 2008.

Its not what they signed up for. Thats the fucking point. Shifts are doubled, they havent gotten raises, and year over year we continue to see record high temps. I wouldnt drive my 996 with no AC in a CA summer and its obscene that you expect these people to do that while getting paid basically state minimum wage.

AAA has stranded me 3 times. All with my 996. First time, the car wouldn’t hot start. I tried diagnosing it myself, and was able to verify I had everything but spark, and that my battery was good. Figured I couldn’t fix it on the side of the road, called for a tow (I did not yet know it was a hot start issue, not a

Misleading title from the author here. It landed in the ocean. Nobody was hurt. China-bashing clickbait is getting out of control.

Fiat Panda 4x4, enough said.

1980s CAD could make a lot more than squares (Ive spent enough time in the original AutoCAD on a 5150 to know, unfortunately). Its probably more down to the fact that square sheet metal stamps are cheaper to make and last longer than swoopy ones.

Dont say the quiet bit outloud...

This doesnt hold water when it comes from the CEO of the company that styles cars which make modern BMWs look like works of art.

Dual row bearing is in 1999 engines (M96.01 with cable throttle). The Turbo/GT2 and GT3 dont have an IMS bearing with any failure issue. They use M96/76 and M96/79 engines.

As good as the Akula was, the Lira class (NATO name Alfa) was where the real innovation was. The Akula borrowed its hull shape as well as many elecyronic systems. It was quieter, but alot slower. The Lira/Alfa caused panic in the US navy when they first saw them. Not sure if its the same with the Akula.

As great as TG was, TGT is growing on me. Mostly I miss cheap car challenges... otherwise seasons 1 and 2 were good.

This is the most unrelated comment ever. PUBLIC SAFETY ANOUNCMENT! The top gear test track is set to be destroyed. Help save this piece of history! It has been called more valuable than top speeds and not to 60 times by the hamster himself. END PUBLIC SAFTEY ANOUNCEMENT!
