More likely they need to lower prices because tariffs will make then more expensive again.  As someone somewhere else pointed out, tariffs would be applied any time something crosses the border. That could mean that finished cars could have had up to 5 layers of tariffs applied.

That’s an incredible silly idea. Firstly, American already uses Philadelphia as a hub. Why would they need Pittsburgh as well?

Secondly, if DCA wasn’t an AA hub, their two closest hubs to DC would be Philly and Charlotte. Terrible business sense. They’d basically be ceding the entire market to United at Dulles.
