A curmudgeonly British engineer/armorer?

Eh, I can retrofit it into any car for $69 plus cost of materials

(sorry, apparently my phone doesn’t allow me to post pictures so I had to wait)

Sidenote: “vibrating car seat” is pretty much only a Brosnan-era Bond gadget.

Does anyone else think it's weird that this is being listed on BaT than at a high-end car auction house?

They beat Aston Martin's "vibrating chassis" to the punch?

Agreed!

Plus, I have a feeling that the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture might have its funding revoked

No, it will be 4 years. There aren’t enough Red States in the country to pass a new constitutional ammendment.

Can't wait for them to product-place this feature in the next Bond movie

Glad to know that there is some actual hard data now. Of course, people who make that kind of bad-faith argument against EV’s wouldn’t actually pay attention to it anyway, but still...

Especially a supposedly-offroad model.

Well, not always in the same place, so unless they are pushing it...

I mean, it makes sense in a certain way. I assume that rideshare vehicles are more likely to be in accidents, and with an EV from a defunct automaker, the insurance company would total it in a heartbeat

I see one parked in Carlsbad as well

Are FDR's really that expensive that small commercial jets don't need them?

Maybe we could make him the new Taco Bell Target

Wait... according to the quote, it did have a cockpit voice recorder

Just a reminder that mean average new car price isn't really indicative of the market for most people because it is being skewed upwards greatly by high-end cars that most consumers don’t buy.

More likely they need to lower prices because tariffs will make then more expensive again.  As someone somewhere else pointed out, tariffs would be applied any time something crosses the border. That could mean that finished cars could have had up to 5 layers of tariffs applied.
