I am so ready for this show! One of my absolute favorite shows on TV right now; just perfect in my eyes. And over just the past few months, I’ve watched so many epic, emotional cartoon finales. Adventure Time, Steven Universe, BoJack Horseman. I’m ready for that again! 

Just watched the first three episodes of season 2 last night and they were great, as expected. I love the tone of this show. Just the hardcore insanity of it all is really refreshing in a cartoon, and I really enjoy them playing with their adaptation as willy nilly as they feel like. 

Shoutout to Lowbrow Studios who animated this piece! They were responsible for the classic Ninja Turtles parody shorts on the old College Humor way back in the day. Glad to see their work getting called up to the big leagues, so to speak.

Make that two full grown adults...

Adam Sandler has been so great recently! Courting a potential Oscar nomination with Uncut Gems was one thing, but that Netflix special of his was something else! Not only was it hilarious, but just so shockingly touching, in ways I couldn’t have expected. It’s like, yeah, Sandman, thanks for growing old with us too.

I just read through that FAQ and it sounds like they will. “The check acts like a refund you get in advance.” Sounds like this check is just going to be my 2020 tax refund given to me a year early.

What if my 2020 return is expected to be exactly the same? Let’s say I manage to keep my job during this crisis and file a 2020 return that’s very similar to my 2019 return. Is the IRS going to deduct $1,200 from my 2020 refund? 

Well shucks, I’m in! I’ll gladly take some free TV during this quarantine! 

Love this show! Season 1 was so perfectly raunchy, funny and emotional, in ways I couldn’t possibly expect. So I am thrilled that more episodes are right around the corner! 

Hands down, one of the best shows on TV right now. So well-constructed. Glad to hear it’ll have a planned ending.

Can’t remember the last time I saw so much product placement in a movie trailer. Is it safe to assume Netflix paid a bunch of money to convince people it’s evil to share your Netflix account with family?

I absolutely love this show and am definitely rooting for Harley and Ivy to get together in a real, meaningful mainstream way. But that explanation is absolutely perfect for why they didn’t just rush into the two of them as a couple. So I’m more than willing to wait. Hell yeah. 

That “Sweet Child O’Mine” instrumental really did hit a chord!

I hate that I find myself being such a stickler about Sonic lore when it comes to this movie. There’s absolutely no reason to worry about it, but it’s just sticking my craw, you know? Like, I want to go on some kind of mini-rant about the weird story choices in this movie, and I even typed some of it out here...but…

Like, I know the show isn’t about to reach the game timeline anytime soon, if ever...but I wouldn’t mind seeing Letho at some point. I liked his face turn in Witcher 3...if he was still alive.

Meh. Looks like every other modern live action batsuit. All thick armor and normal human eyes. I’m not saying I want the film to go back to the Adam West spandex, but maybe a happy middle ground?
