It’s a couple years too late now, but I still think she should have been the surprise villain of Venom. She would have brought a lot more craziness and personality as an evil symbiote. 

I didn’t catch the significance of the name “Ruthie” until reading this review, but I did notice that Princess Caroline’s frequent tongue twisters turn out to be the little device she can use to get her daughter to laugh/stop crying. I thought that was neat. 

Right? I kept patiently waiting for the other shoe to drop and for the character to reveal some special reason for her existence...but nope, dumb blonde joke the whole way through.
