The characters feel so much richer, their drama is so much more personal and real; Rowell and Anka are doing a wonderful job! The time jump in the comics really does jump to somewhere pretty fun, and I’m excited to see that reflected in the show. Hopefully they spend a couple episodes in that new status quo before trotting out the next villain and the next horrors. 

Same here. Sitting there waiting for the after-credits scene, seeing that Arrested Development mention threw me for a loop. Thankfully we have the dutiful reporters at io9 to solve mysteries nobody knew needed to be solved!

I’m with you. This has been my problem with pretty much every Punisher adaptation, be it this show or the movies: He’s not “The Revenger”.
