I don’t think they’re underrated, I think they are under appreciated. They’re always recognized as being apart of the big 4. STP would be more in the underrated category than any of them. Alice In Chains and Soundgarden have aged the best of any grunge band tho by far

It’s just so different than anything they had done and it is upsetting to think how much more shit like that we could have had.  Endless, Nameless is awesome.  Sliver and Lounge Act are at the top of my list

I disagree, they were immensely popular at their peak, but have not seen the same kind of widespread appeal due to the fact that they could be classified as more goth rock than anything. So you can say that they were almost purposefully not as mainstream.  Also, they peaked in the 80s

Yes, they were definitely super earnest, not on Everclear levels, but still... What makes a band underrated is exactly how you put it tho, they were much better than people remember them to be.  Call it nostalgia if you will

I hate going in there, haaaate it.  It is ground zero for mouthbreathing.  Everyone is running into everyone with shopping carts, circling the cheese stations, the meats, the beers, ok it’s a great place but i hate going in there.  Would much rather head into the Brat Stop

You get a more fulfilling experience riding on a boat under the DMB tour bus than you do going to one of their shows

The thing about music is that it’s subjective and everyone’s tastes are different. You can’t tell someone that they’re wrong because they like one band over the other, but i sure can hate you for it.

Driving to Wisconsin from Illinois is exciting because Wisconsin is a fun state to visit for a weekend. There’s lakes, binge drinking, CHEEEESE, all the things you could really need to take a break from IL. Take the skyway into Indiana and see if you feel that same excitement...cause guess what, you don’t. You’re…
