KITEMAN!
KITEMAN!
Won’t happen. Any reasonably-paranoid corporate security person would conclude that if this “Russian-speaking, non-U.S. citizen employee” was targeted once, there MUST be a reason, and the protection of company assets demands removal of the potentially compromised resource.
Final Indignity: After getting out of hospital with $1 million in bills, the “Russian-speaking, non-U.S. citizen employee of Tesla” is arrested by ICE and deported.
OH...there’s that third “K.” I stand corrected.
Rather than give that slot to any GOP House candidate with an actual chance of flipping a District, they go with Kim “I need one more K” Klacik, running to succeed the late Rep. Elijah Cummings. Yeah, that’ll happen.
Injustice was a long experiment in showing just how dysfunctional the whole DC universe becomes when Superman breaks bad. For a series simply intended to support two videogames, it went above and beyond and offered real discussions and arguments for both sides. Plus the body count was hella high.
This is exactly why all the Trump judges are far more ideology than brains.
“In New York City this year, the death rate of covid-19 surpassed that of the Spanish Flu.”
The Mammoth Car was serious nightmare fuel for an impressionable seven-year-old.
Incremental change is the only change that ever actually happens. “Revolutions” fail far more often than supporters choose to believe, because naive hope is embedded in the revolution dynamic: THIS TIME we’ll get it right!
“After hydrogen, stupidity is the most common element in the universe.”

Back in the 2000s my Congressman was named Thaddeus McCotter.
Using phrases like “single payer” or “Medicare for All” or “Green New Deal” as an up-or-down litmus test is the epitome of “magic words” thinking. They have no bearing on future legislation that might ACTUALLY become law over dead-ender GOP opposition...and then survive judicial review by the five hardcore…
A process sparked by Rep. James Clyburn’s endorsement just before the South Carolina Primary. That Biden win led directly to Klobuchar and Buttiegieg dropping out and endorsing him, followed immediately by the Super Tuesday blowout...and then it was pretty much over.
Even with all of those factors, plus the...COLLUSION..., plus the Clinton campaign’s tactical errors in MI, PA and WI, she still would have won if not for Jim Comey’s late October fiasco.
Joe Biden rapidly recognized he’d erred badly with those three words, and very soon after made an apology that was nothing like the “I’m sorry if you were offended by my words” bullshit EVERY Republican uses.
“...continues to be as ungodly as possible outside of directly murdering people.”
I often liked to remind folks that Walton Goggins already WON an Oscar before joining The Shield. His work on Justified was every bit as good.
The whole point of The Shield was that it STARTED with Vic murdering a fellow cop, and then spent seven seasons making you accept him, even sympathize with him and his Strike Team, before ending the series by reminding everyone just what a POS they ended up rooting for.
The show’s original name was “Rampart,” but was changed as part of the whole agreement with LAPD. Another minor, but noticeable once you start looking for it, change was that all uniformed officers in “Farmington” wore their badges on the opposite side as the real LAPD.
