The exact situation 11van mentioned with Persona was very recently covered on this site.

...publishers are knowingly, intentionally selling access to a game before it’s finished.

Some things began the process at that time, like the Badge Arcade. You can still do the daily practice, but when they shut off microtransactions (paid plays) they also stopped the daily free plays and rotating the selection of badges.

I was fortunate enough to have Karateka for our Apple IIe as a kid. That was a system that tended to have a lot of graphical flickering due to some severe limitations, so there was definitely some skilled programming that went into that animation, in addition to the stylish rotoscoping.

Because it doesn’t change anything about game experience. Your character will still be called by the pronoun that matches their gender, which you could have accomplished by just picking that pronoun.

I wrote this elsewhere, but the first time I ever got that far (at about 6 years old) my dad pulled an epic troll by suggesting I approach her slowly.

I had Karateka for the Apple IIe as a kid, and I was probably about 6 the first time I made it all the way to the end. My dad’s advice on what to do in the last room is what would come to be known as an “epic troll”. If you know, you know.

One thing I liked was the small amount of randomization. Even aside from the three paths, some puzzles were different each time you played. Most notably one of the first quests (recover Plato’s Lost Dialogue) had it hidden in one of 5 possible places IIRC. And then later on, some stuff with Stone Disc puzzles.

So... what does the card do?

I made that Link image in the header :3

Tri Force Heroes (2015), 18th game in the Zelda series. Instead of recovering pieces of the Triforce, the goal in that game is literally to create the ultimate dress.

It totally is! You can wear a bunch of dresses in that game and nobody bats an eye except to compliment you.

It may go back a little further.

Sorry about replying two weeks later, I don’t come here often.

I like to point out that on the complaint form, the handwriting changes for the word “indoctrinate”.

what should we call it? TotK 2? BotW 3? Zelda 16?

I’m hoping they find a way to make room for both styles of game. Hecc, they already have 3+ distinct art styles used to set the tones of each game. They can surely mix-n-match some new and classic structure.

For the most part in Spirit Tracks, Zelda disappears like Fi or Midna until she has something to say. The “inanimate” objects she possesses are sets of knight’s armor called Phantoms — after Link evicts the souls currently occupying them. Once she’s in the Phantom, you can control her movement by 1) drawing a path on

I agree pretty strongly with most of your list. If you don’t mind me piggybacking this thread, I’ll add a few more games with my best/worst.
