Given trends in fast food, it might be slightly spicier.

I’m pretty excited if this means that DC will use their entire roster of characters instead of just making movies about the A-listers. The reason I like DC comics has more to do with Booster Gold, Swamp Thing, Big Barda, and Ralph Dibney than Batman or Superman.

Considering James Gunn’s successes in the superhero field have been with decidedly not A-list characters, since I’m a bigger fan of the C and D list characters at DC, I’m pretty excited.

Sites like d2jsp did have a fairly brisk offsite economy, you had to come to terms with the fact that all the runes you were trading for were dupes, and some people were scammers, but it mostly worked. I get that Blizzard would get that “okay, we need better control over the legitimacy of items” and “this is a thing

The answer to “where have the tweeters gone” is ultimately that the Twitter experience, on balance, is a negative one and you’re ultimately going to realize that “hanging out on twitter” is a bummer and that you’re happier when you do other things.

I’m convinced the “Farewell Tour” is because this is the last run of the current formulation of the McRib. They likely have a (hopefully improved) version of the McRib in development since the reason the McRib isn’t available all the time is not because “pig flesh is hard to come by” but because people are motivated

Early in the episode they posited “the 15 most famous paintings” and I sort of got distracted by how they arrive at exactly 15. There are a handful of paintings where nearly everybody’s going to say “yeah, that’s in there” (the Mona Lisa, the Last Supper, Starry Night, The Creation of Adam) but beyond there it gets

This is similar to how the Airheads “Mystery Flavor” is a combination of all the scraps of other flavors that combine and simply do not dye.  It’s probably not the same flavor every time- hence the mystery.

The Last Jedi is the second best Star Wars movie ever from my perspective, but I’d rather he make any three movies than three Star Wars movies.

I understand that it’s much easier to estimate “how much money this movie makes” in theaters, since box office receipts exist and even though some people aren’t going to the theater to see a particular movie, they still can choose to see Movie A instead of Movie B.

I’m skeptical of the Food Network recipe.  I’ve never encountered a mozarella stick that was satisfying out of the oven.  The crust never gets crisp enough and you invariably suffer a containment breach.

I mean, a big part of it is the pandemic.  I haven’t eaten a meal inside of a restaurant since 2019.

I think that if they insist on continuing this franchise even further, they need to do a Halloween 3 again and just say “Michael Myers story is over, here’s a different story set around Halloween”. Like Halloween 2 didn’t live up to its predecessor, but it at least ended the Myers story (which is why it got

I totaled it up and it’s about 2095 calories.  For comparison, you can get 1 optimized “My Cravings Box” for 1550 calories for $5 and a $2 burrito from the value menu for 420-620 calories.

I can make way more pasta than I want to eat at home for less than $20 and it’s going to be way better than Olive Garden.

I like all of these pies except Pecan.

If you need salsa as an ingredient for something else (like red rice) the Chi-Chi’s medium salsa is like the quintessence of medium salsa. Obviously not the best salsa, but it’s well-balanced, has good texture, and tastes like the “medium salsa” in Plato’s realm of the Forms tastes.

I mean, I’m already rooting for Bowser (AND Donkey Kong) to best Mario in that movie which is actually coming out...

It feels like a fundamental problem is that if I see “Spirit Halloween: The Movie” part of me sees “well, that’s and ad for Spirit Halloween- they want you to associate the fun of the movie with the store they want you to go to.” It’s not that I’m not interested in watching ads, but I’m not going to go to a place and

“Podcast exclusive to one platform” is just a bizarre idea that is kind of unnatural to the medium. Since the beginning it’s been about “you can get our podcast anywhere podcasts can be gotten”. Platform exclusivity for a podcast only makes sense if you’re talking about something that’s already popular.
