Celebitchy reports that the reason Brown was in France was for Paris Fashion Week and was invited to sit front row at several menswear shows. So. Can we maybe have this site consider naming names of who the fuck is still inviting this dude to their fashion shows???

Habitat for Humanity does not give houses away for free! Their average mortgage is $90,000. Brad Pitt's non-profit was so much a non-profit, they don’t have any money left...so your thought it was a profit venture would not be correct.

Celebrities should work with existing charities. Pitt could have given money to a group like Habitat for Humanity that already knows how to build houses and wouldn’t have start-up costs.

I am in love with that skirt. Not the gold shirt thing (ugh) or the heels (cute, but doesn’t strike me all that deeply) but the skirt... so much lust.

No good deed goes unpunished.

I visited the prototype houses for this project and produced a list long of the problems they would likely encounter in that environment. So I’m not surprised how this ended.

“When the problems arose, he committed to help make it right.”

Such a bullshit thing to do. Seemingly coming from a good place but some of these celebs starting these charities mainly for vanity. I say this because from the looks of the management of some of these groups, they weren’t really serious about doing good in a way that is sustainable. I wonder who these celebs talk

Men are well, babies, when it comes to the functions (ALL THE FUNCTIONS) of bringing life in to the world. It’s quite pathetic in most cases. Equally intrigued, excited and then reviled by what the reality of being female truly is.

You see what other people’s experiences are and learn that certain things are pretty universal. The deep breathing, moaning, and swaying are all ok, not signs of an emergency. The progress of birthing, from early labor to active labor is good information to have. Its nothing other than visual support. I also find it

Call the midwife is amazing. I still recommend birthvideos to normalize the birth process. It’s literslly nothing other than getting you used to what will happen  no different than watching call the midwife. There are tons of gentle birth videos on YouTube that aren’t not anxiety producing and rather informative. Good

They aren’t patients and I’m not a medical professional. They are clients and I am solely emotional and physical support during birth, nothing medical.

I gave birth at two different hospitals, and neither hospital transported me in a wheelchair on the way out.  I got to shamble out of the medical center to the car both times.  I’d have loved a ride out.

Made an account just to agree with this. I teach Anatomy and Physiology. People don’t know how many holes they have. They don’t know the difference between a vulva and a vagina. Jezebel doesn’t know either, often. People don’t know how common miscarriage is. They don’t know how reproduction works. My students

I am a doula and I am shocked by the number of women who don’t want to watch birth videos before giving birth. I send them peaceful YouTube videos of all kinds and they never watch them. They’re terrified and want to remain in the dark. It’s very strange to me but alrightttt.

Meh. Let these two privileged white women battle it out.

Haha, my husband didn’t REALLY know what birth was going to be like until I went through it and was in so much pain I was vomiting and he was freaking out thinking I might die and wanting to murder the anesthesiologist who was trying to argue with me that pain like that after an epidural is to be expected. He had gone

For those who remember the Dr. Demento Show:

Every woman’s choice is not inherently good for women. The past few days have proven that women can be willing and/or unwitting agents of misogyny to other women. Chimamanda Adichie also addressed this when she said she refused to perform pregnancy.

The accuracy...
