Yeah totally. But most of us don’t have Warren as our Senator! We have shithead Republicans and many middle of the road Democrats who we need to make sure aren’t making too many deals with the devil. :)

Well you don’t HAVE to do anything, but I’m a little confused with what you are passing on.

I’m not in any sort of false equivalency trap. This is a dude who has had the same duty through presidents he voted for and didn’t vote for. Just because Trump and everything about this is goddamn bonkers, doesn’t change that.

Call your Senators, particularly if they are on the relevant committees. You can implore your Democratic Senators to stand their ground and grill the fuck out of the nominees; you can demand your Republican Senators simply agree to stall until there have been the appropriate measures taken.

Yeah - I mean, I’m sure he wasn’t a supporter of each president whose parade he participated in, but clearly this is where he feels his identity lies, in America’s story.

I am getting the impression he’s going to hire people to break his campaign promises and then publicly shame them to maintain his support base. I honestly think that’s what’s going to happen.

Yeah...they are pretty much cartoon villains at this point. I mean, I’m not going down without a fight, but they are showing brazen shamelessness in their corruption. It’s like the Louisiana government took over.

I know it feels that way, but both sides pull strings. A lot of GOP were upset at Obama’s frequent use of Exec. Order.

That was my main takeaway from this too! The dude intimately knows a bunch of tremendously unflattering information - INCLUDING A RAPE - and he’s like “well, bla bla bla I’ll have some manners” or whatever.

Or do NPDs also have a kind of body dysmorphia where they look in the mirror and see hotness where there is none?

We know he’s a man who cares a lot about his image.

Today I’d be far-left compared to what the right itself has become.

Yeah - given all the other people I was surprised held their nose and voted for him, being able to count on the moral compass of my grandparents (even when I disagree with them a lot of the time) has given me great comfort.

When Obama was elected, it’s like all this racism we white people didn’t realize was still there bubbled to the surface. I, too, have plenty of well-educated reasonable relatives who were like HE’S A MUSLIM KENYAN AND WE’RE GOING TO BE WHITE SLAVES!!!1!1!!1

White men are pieces of shit. We are most likely to be murdered by white men. We should round them up, deport them, jail them.

Because this was done with a whole goddamn bunch of research and reporting to back up the actions?

My grandparents (who are probably much less aggressive Republicans haha) didn’t vote for Trump either. They did not vote for the first time in their lives. They are religious and for them, he was too vile.

Unless liberals start moving to less populated areas and spreading out from cities in a mass exodus, this popular vote/electoral college split is going to be more and more common. It would be a monumental effort to change the process, but if it’s not amended or abolished, Democrats may not see another president for

Nope, it means nothing unless Democrats are committed to turning red states blue and caring about it all the time, not just every four years.

The Republicans, when they want something, get down in the mud and exhaust every option, even if they are long shots. We need to be doing the same.
