I agree - I’ve gotten a few Trump ads. I am a liberal who lives in Louisiana. Aside from the fact that I’m liberal, Louisiana isn’t in any apparent danger to go blue...

Also the thing is that maybe she could breach a contract as a beauty queen, but he still shouldn’t have treated her that way. That’s what he’s missing - we’re not saying that she was or wasn’t fat at that moment, we’re saying he treated her like a piece of shit. He thinks “but she gained weight” is an excuse.
That’s the thing: most developers/contractors/etc will have it spelled out in a contract exactly what circumstances can occur (X days late, etc) to reduce payment.
Yeah, I think you’re right, instead of assertive she world be seen as bitchy. I think she has to show a good sense of humor to counterbalance that.
I understand that as women, we’re not a hive-mind
Especially because he is doubling down. Instead of deflecting and denying so people roll their eyes and move on, he’s defending and defending and defending. He lies SO MUCH - why won’t he lie about this? Because he doesn’t understand why it’s offensive, and he doesn’t understand exactly how many of his potential…
Not that I sat opposite of feminism, it was just that the issue never much crossed my mind. Her runs have opened my eyes to it.
I guess I didn’t want it to be Holt interrupting the whole time, so that’s why I’m satisfied with his performance. But all good points. I kind of don’t know what Holt was supposed to do other than just stop the whole debate all the time!
Big difference between someone whining about something that actually affects them, and someone whining because of something that affects SOMEONE ELSE.
Yeah - like he has to learn how to speak better, control his emotions, learn more actual stuff, AND to top it off, admit that what he did last night wasn’t actually a winning performance. I can’t see any of that happening!
Yep. That’s what happens when you have to appear balanced between “two sides to every story” and one of them is just fucking WRONG all the time. As my husband says, “reality has a liberal bias.”
Good. Goooooood. Sure, dude. What you did last night was PERFECT!
Meanwhile almost all others are reporting the opposite. Since there doesn’t have to be a clear winner, common sense would say believe the majority. But those people who saw a winning performance in Trump last night don’t live in reality, so, I’m not going to hold my breath for that.
That tells me he doesn’t know the difference between ISIS, Al Quaeda, etc.
Yeah, Holt was only human. Trump literally answered NO questions. At some point you just gotta let the conversation happen.
I expected a low bar for him (which, really, it was low). I expected that he’d clear it, people would call this a tie and we’d still have to grind our teeth all night. Instead, he didn’t even clear his low, low bar.
I seem to be in the minority but I think Holt did a good job. I realize we all want Trump to be fact-checked more aggressively but traditionally that’s not really the moderator’s role (although I’d argue it should be).
Thissssssssssssss all of thissssssssss. I voted for Bernie (although my primary was early an I would have eventually changed my mind had it come later). However, I have always been a big Clinton supporter and the uphill battles she has faced in her life due to sexism and scrutiny and dirty tricks - she is fucking…
Yeah she had her demeanor softened and she employed a smile all the time. But she smiled at such badass moments. Like she was thinking, “you want me to smile more? I’ve got lots to smile about...”
