WTF are you talking about? The history of the NBA is full of guys who grew up disadvantaged. 75% of the players in the NBA are black, and last I checked that’s not exactly a head start in this country. You’re acting like Steph is a rich kid playing a rich kid’s sport, but basketball isn’t polo.

Worth pointing out:

There’s no question LeBron can do some version of that throughout the series (though likely not as efficiently), but the more difficult questions to answer are: Can Kevin Love continue to play that well? And can the Cavs continue to dominate the offensive glass?

A lane violation is committed on at least 50% of NBA FTs and it’s never called.

What the NBA/NCAA need to do is tweak the rules so that a defender isn’t rewarded for just blocking the path of a dribbler. That’s not defense, that’s obstruction. Call it a foul like they do in soccer’s equivalent of that play.

So telling her to fuck off is too hateful, but her treating the legalization of gay marriage as merely a test of faith to christians (ya know, because it’s so bad and sinful, and obviously it’s really about how it affects godly creatures like them) and referring to all non-straight folks as the “lost, rejected and

All she’s saying is that if you’re not straight it’s because you’re lost, abandoned or rejected, and having the same rights as straight people is further proof the world is corrupt. Your ability to legally marry someone of the same sex is merely god testing christians.....and she’s totally nailing that test!

If a writer for the Myrtle Beach Sun tweets too many updates about the regional Coastal Carolina’s hosting, someone might cancel their ESPN+ subscription. Disney needs that five bucks!

So you’re tellin’ me that someone who was an All-Big East basketball player and set the school assist record at Providence was...also good in high school?!

The Warriors are about to win their third title in four years and could have five or six by 2021-22, so I don’t think anyone rooting for them is worried about the amount of money Curry will make at the decrepit age of 33. A superstar who turned a franchise around, won titles and gets the money they deserve is never a b

Peeing in a shower with the water running leaves pee residue? What does your pee consist of, molasses and tar?

A frightening number of drivers don’t understand that it’s their turn to drive when they’re in a turn lane and a green light in the shape of an arrow points in the direction they’d like to turn, so lack of merge knowledge is not surprising to me.

Well, isn’t Chris Paul hitting double-clutch, from-the-shoulder 3-pointers over seven-footers to beat the shot clock lucky too? Or what about Iguodala - the Warriors’ net ratings leader in the playoffs - getting hurt and then the Rockets winning back-to-back, series-changing games by seven total points?

Yes, #neverforgot those two plays because every non-call favored the Warriors and the Rockets deserved to run football tackling drills off the ball on KD/Klay/Steph all series and also shoot 50 FTs every game.

Nothing was “suddenly ignored” by the refs, but things were missed by the refs. They made literally the same call in previous games in the series (on the floor rather than shooting) a number of times, so it’s not like they made the decision to incorrectly apply the rules to screw over the Rockets.

It’s funny how people are complaining about Harden not getting an and-one there when he is like 97% responsible for the rule change that prevented it from being an and-one.

The on-the-floor rip-through call has been a point of emphasis for NBA officials thanks in large part to Harden, so it’s ironic to complain about him not getting the shooting foul there. Anyway, they made the same call - on the floor rather than shooting foul - throughout the series. That wasn’t a first-time thing,

I saw all those plays too, but what about every other play in the game? Do you honestly think the Rockets didn’t get away with a single foul that offset the missed calls you mentioned? Capela got away with like a dozen blatant shoves in the back in the first half alone that led to Rockets second chances. It’s

Klay was called for three fouls in the first two minutes that the refs didn’t call with any consistency or reliability throughout the series or within a single game yet Capela got away with just rebounding through the backs of Warriors players all first half. See, bitching about officials goes both ways!

They never played the Clippers without Paul and Griffin. They lost to the fully healthy Clippers in seven in the first round of the 2014 playoffs and haven’t seen them in the postseason since, though they did basically kill Lob City by dominating the LAC ever since that series.
