It depends on how far they go with the gameplay changes. If they redesign all of the combat encounters from scratch to take advantage of the AI, ability to go prone, etc. then they’re effectively making a whole new  game.

battlefield had a scoreboard since day 1. it just wasn’t in the same form people wanted. It was a squad scoreboard and you could only see details of your squadmates, otherwise it was the collective stats of each squad. It’s funny as a tank main, I enjoy the open maps more for the vehicle vs. vehicle combat. Hourglass is especially fun because you can use the dunes to aim higher and snipe helicopters with the cannon. Brilliant fun honestly.
