I’ve owned both a 981 CS, and now a 987.1 CS. The 987.1 is more fun, visceral, engaging, challenging, and rewarding to drive. The 981 is more refined, less twitchy, and has better technology, but still great fun.

Bigger, electric steering, more plush...and, IMO, not as pretty.
The S2000 is a fantastic car. A really good friend of mine that I also carpooled with and traded wrenching jobs with had one so I’m more familiar with them than I’d like. But it is a no-compromises sports car. It’s not great for your day-to-day without some sacrifices to comfort and driveability. You’re sitting north…
Ya know whats funny about Boxsters? I don’t know many people who have driven one that don’t really like it. I used to do vehicle transporting and one day I had to pick up a Boxster. Everyone in the office was making jokes before I left like everyone was going to think I was a girl when they drove up on me and try to…
So, I’ve never actually liked the Boxster... at all. It’s awkwardly proportioned. It’s a little too big to be a real roadster. It comes with plenty of Porsche smugness, but plenty of “couldn’t afford a 911" condescension. Accessing the top of the engine is an hour long process. My entire perception has always been…
With big luxury cars, the V12 isn’t about speed. It’s about smoothness.
I love that you just keep reposting that same paragraph. Lol’ing.
In S class trim they actually drive quite differently.
The V8 is more rev happy, more sporting. The V12 is thrust without contemplation.
This is exactly why bench racing is a worthless pursuit, paper tells you nothing about differences in character.
You expect me to settle for a common engine like a V-8? What, do you want me to be mistaken for a poor?
“Why is it always the people with shitty cars that try and show out? No one gives a fuck about your 10-year-old V6 charger, I promise.”
Someone’s gonna say it, so here goes:
In Texas, a car dealership and some small religious organization - entities totally renowned for their trustworthiness - created an idiotic controversy steeped in sanctimonious hypocrisy and shady self-benefit? No way, how could it be...
A dealership involved in shady dealings? I’m Shocked! Shocked!
Wow, that’s really fuck up.
According to the LA Times, as of last November 27% of new cars were available with a manual transmission option. And of all the cars sold last year, less than 3% were purchased with a manual transmission.
Lucky you and so would I.
I’ve driven manuals more years than automatics, and while I like manuals, they are a pain in the ass for daily commutes.
Good I’m glad you hate flying. Stop doing it so the rest of us don’t have to deal with your fucking bullshit.
Don’t tell the other guy, but I gave you a few stars so you’d have more than him. Shhhhhhh...
As I said, the more the consumers are upset. Keep stacking up events like this and you might actually see a change. But thanks for acting like a tool anyway.
