Libertarians do not need the excuse of religion. They will instead say their conclusions are based on “common sense”, “responsibility”, and “evolution” and vote exactly the same way religious fundamentalists do.

I will be voting in the general for whoever wins the Democratic primaries, but the candidate dying after the primaries but before the general is definitely one of my top fears for this election. I really wish Bernie and Biden had sat this one out.

It can take years for an harassment, assault, or rape case to make its way through our legal system. In the meantime, a school may wish to protect their students.

I think it is more that society has moved forward and the GOP has not. Look at movies and other entertainment from even a few decades ago, and you’ll see things that seemed funny or acceptable at the time, but that a lot of people find appalling today. 

More important to know the person’s tolerance for alcohol, I think. Past consent doesn’t mean present consent. You want to know that they mean what they say (or do) even when they’ve had a few drinks, and the only way to know that is to know how alcohol affects them.

I have found the only cranberry juice that works for me is the sort that is not from concentrate. It is expensive.
