The charging port needs to be on the bottom for docked mode. That’s why it’s there. You’re more likely to be charging it while it’s in a dock than in tabletop mode. You can’t place it on the sides because Joy-Cons. You can’t place it on the top because then you’d have to dock it upside-down, which would make (excuse…

But the Wii U version doesn’t allow you to resume your game instantly, at any time... And that precisely what makes the Switch great in my opinion.

Except the fact that this is a platform to play games. Youd be right if there was something similar to the Switch. But there isnt. Because it does deliver console quality in a portable form factor. Your tablet, or 3ds, phone dont have these characteristics.

i don’t feel smug, just happy i have it =) Breath of the Wild alone would be a system seller for me, but i wouldn’t have bought it for that alone, since i could have played that on the WiiU, too (even if not in the way i play it all the time right now which is for an hour or two after work in bed).

I have a WiiU, too and still bought the Switch and the game with it, if you enjoy it on the WiiU, great for you, i’m not talking that down =) Seems like you feel like you have to talk down the new thing because you didn’t buy it (yet)

Funny how that goes, i feel pretty good about not listening to the internet bashing hype, sticking with my preorder and playing and loving Zelda on it since =)
