The joycons connected aren’t bad at all. Wii U doesn’t come with that stuff, but if you already have it, that’s a good option. Otherwise you’d have to buy the Wii mote and nunchuck too or play with the game pad, which is a lot more awkward they any of the Switch playing options.

Doesn’t hurt to wait, that’s a smart move. That being said, I’m really happy with mine so far! Last console I got on release was Dreamcast. Lol

It feels pretty solid to me. Watched some drop tests online too, I’m not seeing any quality issues. Though, I had a PlayStation 1 that had to be flipped upside down to play discs, and loved it too. Haha
