"Are you going to tell me an 11 and 12 year old is incapable of understanding the consequences... they are some how subjected to different rules?"

Unless they fired him for gross misconduct, I doubt he will be denied unemployment.

The difference being that they gave a reason, making this a dismissal issue which then becomes subject to wrongful termination statutes and case law. The separate but maybe related issue being that he might qualify for unemployment because of the nature of the termination process.

So which brings more stadium money: winning and reaping a higher percentage, or continuing to lose and driving up alcohol tax revenue?

This is why, even in an at-will state like Oklahoma, though you can fire someone for no reason, you should always have a paper trail. If an employee tries to make a case that their termination was for reasons prohibited under federal law, a well-documented history of work-related personnel issues will squash any such

Yeah, that's a good point. The AD should have fired him the very first day, when Aguero stopped "coaching," "went home," and "got 8 hours of sleep."

This makes perfect sense. You see, he was fired for "running". He was hired for "coaching". It is perfectly clear that if you are "running" then, by default, you are not "coaching". Even though he was "coaching running". I don't see what the problem is.

A viper's bite might not kill you instantly, but it will catch up to you eventually.

Its not possible to have an inside the park grand slam strike out because the dropped 3rd strike rule only applies when 1st base is unoccupied. Therefore if bases are loaded it is just an out and no one can run. If 1st is open then the batter and 2nd and/or 3rd can advance.

Gtfo. It's a great rule. The strikeout requires the defense to be successful (hold on to the damn ball) and not just rely on the offense to be unsuccessful.

Perfect. Sounds like something the Cato Institute would come up with.

"Team on a tight budget for NFR" (no fucking reason)?

As an outsider who knows nothing about basketball this whole thing is hilarious. I'm hoping that Rob Ford gets involved somehow.

There are only so many pyramid schemes to go around.
