I admire your restraint. I'm usually very anti-violence, but people who harm animals and kids really test that belief.

YES PLEASE.
Idk, in my experience most peoples' dealbreakers (unless they're big ones like "wears a fedora") go away the second they meet someone they like who has said dealbreaker. Like, it's probably not SUPER helpful, but if he was cool otherwise it probably wouldn't be that big a deal.
Costumes are so important. People who go to halloween things without them are a profound failure. (jk i did that last year) (i actually went as my roommate) (i'm aware that doesn't really count).
Probably true. It seems like there are a lot of arguments that would work much better. Like the total violation of privacy.
I really can't imagine wanting to hurt yourself so much. I hope that nurse loses her license/gets eaten by wild badgers.
I have absolutely no problem with teenagers trick-or-treating if they actually wear a costume. It doesn't have to be anything extravagant, but it should be more than just a mask that you wear for the first 15 minutes of the night and then just carry around.
I don't have a problem with it at all if they actually wear costumes. But that's pretty rare. It's usually just, like, a Scream mask. And half the time they're not even wearing it, just carrying it around. It's lazy. Also as a rule I just really dislike most of the teenagers in my neighborhood.
In this case? Yeah. Either have an actual costume or have a kid with you. That is the point of halloween.
Seriously, what is her damage? It's not like the kids are 18 year olds without costumes or little kids with them. My neighborhood has a lot of those, and they're fucking annoying.
My uncle's brother is currently in prison for molesting a kid. His family's totally convinced the kid's mom had an axe to grind and he's innocent. They also have a niece who was molested when she was 5, so you'd think they'd be more sympathetic.
The situation is the opposite at my house. My dog sits there patiently while roommate's kitten climbs all over him and bats at his face and tail. The only time he's ever barked and growled at the cat was this morning, when he was eating for the first time since his 24-hr medical fast and the cat tried to eat his food.
ughhhh when women say shit like this about other women, all I can hear is the subtext, "see, I'm cool! I'm not like OTHER girls! Pls like me!"
Both my parents are pretty liberal, so I don't hear any shit like that from them.
Exactly. It would have been so much better if Hillary won in '08 and Barack could win 2014. Hillary's getting up there, age wise, now (I don't think it'll make her a worse president but people are going to be so annoying about that), but she would have been just right for '08. Barack would have had more experience by…
I think the offensive part about people who say things like that isn't about the actual fraction they are (unless it's like 1/19 or something and that's just offensive because they obviously don't know how math works). It's more about the ones who have no actual connection to the culture- who know literally nothing…
Theres a reason people use that trope. I can't count the number of white people I know who say shitty things about Native Americans and then claim to be one (as if that would make it okay). It's not even that they look white (my cousin looks very white but she's still like 1/4 Native American), and therefore won't…
Ew. I bet you're one of those people who puts Splenda in their coffee.
Pepsi is fizzy sugar water, so pass. Diet Coke is crisp and refreshing and you're wrong #teamdietcoke.
What coffee shop if you don't mind me asking?
