That happened with my SmartTV. I got it a few years ago, and they basically decided they didn’t want to bother adding apps for stuff like HBO Max or Disney Plus that would work on my model. I had to buy a Roku to use them.

So basically they are changing the label on the TVs that they have been partnered with for years now? What is really new about this? They’ve been working with TCL and other companies embedding Fire TVs for a long time. I doubt their “in house” design will do anything that TCL isn’t already doing.

I don’t see how this could possibly work out in the real world. I’ve actually never watched the show; except for 2 or 3 episodes of the first season. For me, Rob’s recaps actually is the show.
