Hey fellow Jalpops, if you wanna see some car prices that only a crack addicted meth head would pay, go look on FB at the price people are charging for newer Chevy Trucks!  I regularly see 2018+ Tahoes with 80-100K miles asking 60K or more.  Its pure insanity....

It’s interesting, when the current Titan came out I thought it’s grille was way too big and it looked too big in general.  Now it is one of the more conservativily styled trucks and really doesn’t look too bad.  Maybe It’ll finally get a little love.

Not entirely clear on what you are trying to say, sorry. What happened?

The weird thing to me is that despite the production shortage due to parts availability, the car makers are still buying a lot of sheet steel from US manufacturers. I don’t know if they’re stock piling it or partially producing cars or what. If they’re doing partial production, I can’t imagine that having that much

I feel for anyone who needs to buy a new car right now. You’re going to get fleeced, there’s no way around it.

Maybe if you can’t afford a fancy car, buy less of a car. Get an XL Maverick with no options for $21,500 and skip the $28k XLT. Don’t quit work in a rage, simply pay the note, build credit, skip the repair shop for the first 3 years, then do it again in 2028 but at a much lower rate and the old truck will be your down

This.  And also, there is a Democratic president, who theoretically got elected based upon union support.  He should be saying something about this issue.

Good, more workers should strike. The collapse of wage growth over the last thirty years is directly related to the lack of strikes and unionized labor. If you hate your job, and get angry with other people fighting for a better wage and better conditions, then join a union and fight for them yourself. Every industry

It’s weird - the more people make fun of Lexus’ grills for looking like the Cylons the more Lexus seems to go all “hold my beer” on it!

You’re shitting me right? A 4Runner feels like a Bentley by comparison? The 4Runner and the Wrangler are equally terrible on the road, each in their own special way. People just pick the one they personally like better and find a way to justify the awfulness they have to put up with every day.

What does it tell us about the state of car tech advancement when “supremely comfortable” is the headline for this review?

I’ll just hit the low hanging fruit since I made everyone mad yesterday.

Also available next spring. The Lexus LC 2x12 Combo Amp, with start/stop hybrid technology and custom Lex-Us-Rock™ grill.

Its a bold thing to admit to your non-first place status. It only works if you are the underdog though.

As a service advisor, I'll give a hard pass to any GM from the last few decades.

Yeah. There’s going to be a really big shit show going on in a year and a half when all these folks are underwater on loans they cant afford anymore. The strategy of building wealth through saving is going to have its day soon.

Cars change hands here more than they probably need to. Most people could calm down and wait this out and cure the frenzy by not feeding into it. But, that doesn’t seem to be “The American Way.”

Came for this. Not enough stars. Fuck the Jeep mythos.

Well Toyota always made the better off road vehicle.

We design all of those Trail Rated elements from the ground up… it’s not just a marketing term.
