Honda Accord? One of least durable cars ever made? Surely this is bait.

I’m looking forward to seeing this trickle on to dealer lots in 2026 with a $20k markup!!

Once again, we see that there are few more useless middlemen than car dealers. Why Americans are not in more of a tizzy to demand states roll back franchise laws is just completely beyond me. Other than service after the sale, a car dealer provides literally nothing of value in the sale transaction but only add

Frontier similar to Tacoma!? Not even close. Not by a million miles. OK, so they both have grills and headlights.

This is an impressive accomplishment for Nissan. The past year, my local dealers cannot keep ANY full-size truck in stock. Even the hideous GMs are flying of the lots with $6k +MSRP markups. Tundra? That’ll be a $10k markup, and you’ll wait a few months to get one.

Yes! This! I wish so many more men would stop with the “my life is over because kids” sentiment. Children need to see their parents as human beings with hobbies, passions, interests of their own. I love my kids but since they were born my wife and I agreed they will adapt to our lives, not the other way around.

Yeah, this. My Toyota dealer (Kendall Toyota in Anchorage, Alaska) has all their new trucks with a $7k-10k markup over MSRP. And dumbasses are buying them, apparently since this continues to be the dealership’s strategy.

Serious question: If Toyota is doing so well, can someone tell my why my local Toyota dealer (Kendall Toyota in Anchorage, Alaska) has all their new trucks with a $7k-10k markup OVER MSRP??

Rossi was that rare combination of brilliantly talented driver, and also charismatic and charming showman. He was good sportsman, and his rivalries were usually good-natured. When he was at his peak, his battles on track with Casey Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo, or Sete Gibernau were legendary. Any racing fan should Google a

...which is ironic because whenever I see one their pickup truck abominations on the road, I laugh at its face.

Can anyone enlighten me: how are electric cars projected to depreciate over many years of ownership. Like, what market will there be for me when I want to Craigslist my ten-year-old Tesla or i3? What will I get for them?

I never want to forget this moment of TV history. Easily the funniest moments in all of television. I remember I was watching it air for the first time in college, and I was in tears from laughing and my face really hurt later.

I’m a Honda fanboy but I haven’t heard of this one. It’s a frustrating reminder of all the cool cars we don’t get in the United States of Freedum.

Thank you for posting this link. This page is incredible. I love the charming, yet very frustrating-to-navigate, Angelfire website design.

It is shocking to me that these people (at least the one in the article) earn up to $110,000 per year to basically upload .pdf forms to a lender’s website. Other than service techs and advisors, 99% of dealership staff are as useless as Anne Frank’s drumset.

I was thinking almost the same thing. Was gonna comment, “I look forward to seeing these arrive on dealer lots sometime towards the end of 2024 with a $15k dealer markup.”

I think (as the example with Mr. Wood above demonstrates) we can all agree there is one clear winner here in this insanely overheated new car market: NISSAN. Seriously, the dealer near me has had the ancient Titans and Frontiers sitting on the lot for literally years Literally. They have photos on their website of

I wonder when we’ll actually see these hit dealer lots in a basic version. Sometime towards the end of 2025, I assume?

This is an underrated point. I owned a new 4Runner a few years ago. Out of probably 20 cars I’ve owned over the years, this was the worst-driving of them all. Seriously. It drove worse than a 1989 Caprice. Worse than a 2013 F-150. Worse than a 2001 Cherokee. Sure, it was fantastic off road, but driving on any pavement

I’m not sure I could think of anything worse than converting a DB5 to electric power.
