This young piece of arm-candy better be a tiger in the sack for the kind of display of p*$$y-whipping.

@mrs_helm: My guess is that loaning a friend/family member enough to buy a house is outside of most LH's budgets. But it was very generous of your MIL to do that.

My brother graciously loaned me money many years ago, and it led to years of awkwardness. I was unable to make any payments to him for a while, and even after paying it back in full plus interest, I still felt weird about it.

I do not subscribe to the belief of having flashy things to impress other people. But I do like to have nice things for me. For example, I'd much rather buy nice clothes that are well made (so they last a while) and make me feel good wearing them, rather than cheap shirts that I'd have to replace every year.

@uncle moe: Is that legal? Doesn't the consumer have to consent for an entity to check one's credit?

From the article:

I was also hoping that the service would mask the target URL.

To those who need a better search feature, try Lookout. It isn't officially made for Outlook 2007, but there are many articles out there with easy to follow instructions about how to make it work on Outlook 2007.

Very cool idea, and good demo video. But also great way to potentially waste a lot of water. If anyone chooses to do this, instead of dumping the water, how about watering some plants (or something else useful) with it?

Very cool idea. I do see the point made about making a screencap of the decrypted text before it expires, but that assumes the recipient knows the lifespan of the email.

I wonder if you can add those sentences to your email signature and it still be just as effective...

OMG, don't show this to Wifey. Sixty to 68 degrees? I'd freeze to death.

Adam, you are creepy looking, indeed.

Call me crazy, but the freezer seems like a pretty safe place as long as you know that it won't be thrown out. It's pretty fireproof in there (cuz everything's FROZEN, and the whole freezer is insulated from the 'outside') and I doubt a thief would like through all your leftover food.

Creative idea, but don't most experts say that most burglaries take place during the day when the homeowners are at work? If I were a burglar, I'd rather go in when people are most likely not there, rather than at night when they most likely are there, even if sleeping.

Kevin, you may want to edit this article. Consumers are not entitled to see their FICO credit score once a year; we are entitled to see our credit reports once a year for free.

What IT pro doesn't snoop?

Er, I mean....
