dont dismiss reddit as a whole, its actually a pretty rad place for people from everywhere to talk about anything. it gets a lot of heat from jezebel and the like cos it can tend towards nerdly young men and a hivemind, but youd honestly be amazed at the extent and diversity of folks you can encounter there.
