I really enjoy seeing Jimmy’s real-life growth/arc, especially compared to his former garbage co-host.

Nice song list AV Club and congrats on the Editor-in-Chief job, Ms. Chavez. The St. Joe Strummer line in “Constructive Summer” rang pretty true for me when the record came out. I’m looking forward to seeing who sings it. Also, if GWAR covered “Naked as We Came,” that would be pretty funny.

I don’t think the point of the feature is to highlight the best bands of any country.

Unfortunately, INXS was the best Aussie band that Australia could come up with.

Would Love to see “Slip Slidin Away” by Paul Simon covered, A lot of great bands could crush that.

Thankyou for bringing up Quantum Leap. That always brightens up my day a little. Even if it’s something sad like this. Though I confess I am one of many who had assumed she’d passed some years ago.

Speaking of LOTR, my favorite movie experience is my high school friends and I dressing up as different characters to see the first one. I was both Merry and Pippin as the other half couldn't make it. My friend's sister's Nazgul costume was my favorite. Ah, the good old days....

Awesome. Probably a limited number of these he can do, since you have to get folks who are available to sit down for two hours to watch a movie with him. But I do miss having those commentaries. 

Wyatt Russel kinda has the same thing going with his parents.

Exactly, if they can do the job who cares who their parents were. Jack Quaid is a talented actor and has the charisma, Wyatt Russel is great, Bryce Dallas Howard can act and direct, Sophia Coppola because a great director(just don’t let her act).

I do like how Jack Quaid looks like am exact 50/50 combination of his parents—i.e., “what if Dennis Quaid were just cute as a little button?”
