Plus the whole “Cinderella story” narrative completely fails to hold up to any scrutiny (and has always pissed me off).

This half season reinforces what I said after S5 ended: the season should have started with Diana’s death and the immediate aftermath.
My mother, an American who had never previously openly showed any interest in Diana or the British royals, fucking lost her damn mind when Diana died. Like bought magnets to display on the fridge and other kinds of weird shit. I found Diana’s death sad, but the mass hysteria just fucking grossed me out.
I’ve been making Alton Brown’s Aged Eggnog for over half a decade now. (https://altonbrown.com/recipes/aged-eggnog/) I have tried it with equal parts brandy, bourbon, and rum, but I don’t like the flavor brandy gives. Eventually, I settled on 2 parts bourbon, 1 part dark rum.
I have a friend who has a recurring gig as an Audrey Too puppeteer in my city. He also often works with the same performer who does vocals for the puppet. It’s kind of a weird niche market that he’s cornered.
I will note that this looks better than I expected and at the same time, still completely unwatchable. (Really says more about my expectations than anything else.)
Since a few months before the pandemic, there has been a TJ’s 2 blocks from my home, and it is almost exclusively where I shop. (I do try to hit the produce market that’s in my neighborhood, but not as frequently.)
While it’s definitely a lower tier movie, I certainly don’t look at it as the least watchable of the Infinity Saga. (That prize goes to Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2, which I straight up skipped when I did a pandemic rewatch of the entire MCU.) It’s highly flawed, but Hiddleston’s Loki makes the thing actually…
Overall this is great news.
Any popular song that feels like the definitive version of the song should appear on this list. Case in point:
“Wait, what?” was my first thought.
It sounds like lazy writing, to be honest. “What’s a good way to create relationship drama? I know! One of them cheats on the other!” If that’s all you can come up with, you’re not that good of a writer.
He finally got past needing to distance himself from The Mickey Mouse Club, and we are at last reaping the benefits.
In my experience, the button on the fan to switch the direction usually corresponds to how the air flows. Down setting means the air will blow down (i.e. cooling, summer setting). Up will pull air up (i.e. cooler weather setting).
It is a godsdamn travesty if the had Walken on the show and didn’t. THAT OPPORTUNITY DOESN’T JUST COME ALONG EVERY DAY, SNL.
I have a sliding tip scale:
I will still watch it, but I’d really prefer the show start with Diana’s death (first episode only features her) so that we could focus more on the aftermath and beyond, which is all a lot more interesting to me.
He’s the part of Thor 2 that makes it worth watching.
I told Joel & Team at a special event once that they did more to help me understand irony than any English class when I was in high school.
I don’t need a return aside from getting to watch new MST3K.
