The honest answer is that there isn’t one. He wasn’t a pop star. He didn’t sell out stadiums. He was big in rock music during a decade where Rock fell almost entirely out of the cultural zeitgeist. He sold millions of albums but he never would have had a ton of radio play.

And even then, it still kind of sucked. A decent person would have just shut the fuck up.

To be fair not all of us are terrible in this precise way. Some of us are perfectly content to be terrible to fully grown women. Others are gay or asexual and their terribleness is of a non-sexual nature.
