Black Bolt vs. Groot: The Live Debate
"We have Spider-Man Minus Spider-Man verse stories for years here at Sony. Did you know Ben Reilly has had some similar adventures to Peter Parker except he's also a clone? Can we do Spider-Gwen? I don't know, but we're sure going to try!"
Erik Killmonger?
Do you think Getty Lee got rich just from Rush? You always have to have a back-up plan.
The Hypno Hustler just unplugged his modem so his phone line is free when Sony offers him the villain role.
Ok, I hear that. Milwaukee-raised myself and going to college was a fascinating experience when it came to carbonate beverage designation. People from some parts of the south that refer to any soda as "a coke" fascinate me.
Bubbler= drinking fountain
Tyme machine=ATM, because the first ones in Milwaukee said "tyme is money." That one is starting to fade, but older people still say it.
Putting the quarter in the cart and bringing your own bags is more than worth it for the cheaper prices.
You just have to make sure to stop at the bubbler before we get money, because you don't want to be thirsty in the line for the tyme machine.

He should have said he wasn't aware of what was happening because he got distracted by the clouds overhead. And then Homer Simpson could be her bodyguard!
Oh I think it's a great idea and show of Batman's efficiency, just the closing shot of them getting dragged out doesn't give the impact of how cool this stunt is. Great character moment, underwhelming presentation of it.
And on Festival Sundays, someone can play the flute solo from Inner Light!
I really like Dark Knight, but I think the action scenes are a weak link. Nolan nailed one shot extremely well and that's the truck flip. That's a thing of beauty.
I saw 300 in the theater and left feeling like it was pretty cool, but I can honestly say I've never had a desire to go and watch it again. I think it's just too much of everything. That shouldn't be a surprise with Snyder directing a Miller work, but the macho yelling, the brutal deaths and the weird army of mutants…
(Epic voice): "AND THEN THEY MADE…COFFEE!!!"
I want someone with long-form writing abilities to do a piece on the Dawn of the Dead Remake and how Snyder became the face of DC's creative side and James Gunn is part of Marvel's core.
Being born in 1981 I conveniently missed almost all of the terrible Packers years and saw them win a Super Bowl at an age I cared the most about football. 25 years of Favre and Rodgers is a pretty semi-charmed kind of football fan life.
I got cable for the first time in late 1996 and the music videos of 1997 are imprinted on my brain. There's lots of "That's So 1997" ones (Fly, Walking on the Sun, etc.) but my favorite, for that year and all time, is Everlong. Gondry perfectly captures the dream-like state of impossible things being possible, but…
