I don’t understand the upset. People are driving Teslas hands free (I’VE done it for a short period of time) on the highway at speed for quite a while now, and no one is freaking out about that. People need to take a deep fucking breath.

Dude, flying a plane, in a professional situation, is 90% boredom and 10% tightly controlled panic. If you’re in the air, out of the pattern with a trimmed-out craft, you have a lot of free time.
Agreed. I’m just saying the appetite for doing that kind of thing isn’t what it used to be. They could be a campaign contributor, after all.
And when was the last time that happened? 2012? And that was because of defective technology.
Whoa there, Mr. Commie...
Seriously, I totally agree. Hell, the FBI and others have been doing that with ‘suspected’ drug dealers for years with not so much as a by-your-leave...but that was a different time. For all the appetite for destruction and change that APPEARS to be out there, people are pretty timid about the…
...and people say physicists have no sense of humor.
“...wireless providers have a legal obligation to protect their networks from transmitting illegal traffic.”
“What’s in it for us?” -Telcos.

You bastard. That’s going to be in my head all day long now, thanks. Mind you, I knew it was inevitable once I clicked on the Comments section.
Even The Prestige to some extent. I think we’ve found his ‘type’!
I went to the theatre to see TENET on the biggest screen possible, and it washed over me so quickly, some of the dialog unintelligible, that I ran out and got the DVD as soon as it was available...to read the subtitles. Still have to go through it a few more times to pick up all the characters and the situations.…
Inception maybe, but not Interstellar. Interstellar was SUCH a lost opportunity, you can almost read the studio notes between the frames. I’m surprised Kip Thorne, even at his advancing age, didn’t go to England, find Chris Nolan and punch him in the nose.
I’ll just leave this here....Definitely worth the read if you fly at all.
Very good to see JMS putting out a novel. Will definitely be in line for The Glass Box.
I found it was so overpromoted that by the time I saw it, I felt like I’d already seen it. Plus, they were so chuff about the effects that when I saw some of the stunts, I could see where they’d CG’d backgrounds, etc. It was a serious buzzkill. And when I see part 2 or whatever it’s ultimately called, I will ASSIDUOUSL…
Thank you! What NOBODY has done in this is actually talk to the NHTSA to find out why they haven’t been able to get it done. Not that they could actually tell you, because they’re probably in fear of angering the MTGs of this world who think they should just shut NHTSA down because SHE never wore seatbelts as a kid and…
...and your point is? :)
Can’t take credit, it was Cory Doctorow when I read it.
Audi, too. I have it on my 03 Allroad and 07 A4.
