The Three-second rule.
Find a spot that the car in front of you has just passed. Count to three. If you have passed that mark before getting to three, you are TOO FUCKING CLOSE!

Y’know what, fuck the haters: I’m looking forward to this game, principally because I like getting immersed in a game, especially as rich as this one looks, and taking the time to poke around. I don’t care about my body count, I just want a visually and aurally stimulating environment to explore.

Manufacturers looked at the cars people were buying...suvs, minivans, small trucks and said...”Let’s build high-end pickups and tiny cars that would look more at home at a Ringling Brothers show.”
