I’ve never been a big Vette fan, I always saw these as a poor-man’s hypercar. That said, I’m a kinda poor man, and for $1,500, this is very tempting. As you said, all the stuff listed and that you can see can be put right in fairly short order. But what worries me is the 141K miles. Normally, that’s not a big turn…

Y’know, it’s sad. This kid has obviously worked hard, has had some amazing breaks and success, but he’s gone off the deep end, and he really needs some serious psychiatric help before he does some REAL damage. All of this is a cry for help.

Could not agree more. A friend had one of the ultra-luxe versions, and while it was absolutely beautiful and had some very cool features (the back window rolled down completely, which I thought was great), it was massively expensive and a gas-guzzler beyond all reason.

I think overall the Brits have done a much better job than north America. I mean, the average age of the actors on BritBox and Acorn has to be about 50. Whereas at the Oscars every year, wifey and I regularly go “Who?” when someone comes out as a presenter. I mean, we’re old, but...

So very ‘yup’.  Porches etc...not enough mass. Feels like rolling down the street in a tin can. The S5 has enough mass and grunt to feel ‘right.’.
