They may tell you it’s a Land Cruiser....it’s so not.
They may tell you it’s a Land Cruiser....it’s so not.
Run screaming in the other direction. Friend of mine had one of these. Had. He’d bought it because his old Toyota Land Cruiser was a frame, a roof-rack (after market) and some tires, as it was born rusty, but the mechanicals refused to die. It’s now a bush truck for hauling squirt boats up and down river paths.…
My wife is a big fan of “Bull”. I leave the room when it’s on. Not only is it badly written pap, but “Dr. Phil” can kiss my Schwetty Balls before he gets a ratings point from me.
I am so sick of fending off idiots who drive Silverados like....well,...IDIOTS...I wish I could sentence some of them to drive this thing for a month. Make them the object of extreme derision and mockery. MAJOR Mockery!
I’m sure it’s fine, but...just....so....damn....UGLY!
That accounts for the whole “Children of the Corn” vibe.
Was there actually a 440 in those things? They were a total tuna can.
Star for the Louis Malle ref!
Damn those things were big. And hollow. You could rap on a side panel and hear an echo.
AND you can sneak up on blind people and scare the shit out of ‘em! How cool is THAT???
Woof. ‘Cabernet’ and ‘merlot’ are cues to how much wine I’d have to drink to pummel my self-control to buy this....thing. Talk about split personality.
Yeah, sound was worse than KCs pass receivers!
Check out the cost to do an oil change for an Audi Allroad 2.4 vs 4.2. It’s ASTRONOMICAL.
Like my Audi stealership who almost sneer at me for bringing my Audi in for something, vs the roll-out-the-red-carpet local shop who treat me like a king and charge me 1/3rd of what the stealership does.
My local shop has had any number of chances to absolutely rape me but has saved me almost enough...to buy another…
I’ll second that. I think that’s why there’s been a good aftermarket for pieces made by non OEM makers for German cars, like Arnott.
“Well DUH!” - Any German car owner.
Answer: The part that insists on taking up three parking spaces in any given lot ‘ to avoid door dings’.
Any idea if Looooo is still involved with Space.com? I know it’s been sold a bunch of times, but I don’t know if they’ve sprayed for Dobbs to air the place out.
Fitting Dobbs would start Space.com...vacuous, empty, full of dark matter...
...depending on the year. My ‘03 has a 2.7T, and is probably faster than the available 4.2, simply because of weight. AND there aren’t 2 oil pans so n oil change doesn’t cost $8000!
GM made some nice cars, and some cars that were probably under-appreciated in their time. It was their own fault, with an embarrassment of designs, cheap fuel, reasonable labour costs and a willing market.
