Yeah, sound was worse than KCs pass receivers!

Check out the cost to do an oil change for an Audi Allroad 2.4 vs 4.2. It’s ASTRONOMICAL.
Like my Audi stealership who almost sneer at me for bringing my Audi in for something, vs the roll-out-the-red-carpet local shop who treat me like a king and charge me 1/3rd of what the stealership does.
My local shop has had any number of chances to absolutely rape me but has saved me almost enough...to buy another…
I’ll second that. I think that’s why there’s been a good aftermarket for pieces made by non OEM makers for German cars, like Arnott.
“Well DUH!” - Any German car owner.
Answer: The part that insists on taking up three parking spaces in any given lot ‘ to avoid door dings’.
Any idea if Looooo is still involved with Space.com? I know it’s been sold a bunch of times, but I don’t know if they’ve sprayed for Dobbs to air the place out.
Fitting Dobbs would start Space.com...vacuous, empty, full of dark matter...
...depending on the year. My ‘03 has a 2.7T, and is probably faster than the available 4.2, simply because of weight. AND there aren’t 2 oil pans so n oil change doesn’t cost $8000!
GM made some nice cars, and some cars that were probably under-appreciated in their time. It was their own fault, with an embarrassment of designs, cheap fuel, reasonable labour costs and a willing market.
I have no dog in this fight; such a mongrel, even though it’s a pretty mongrel, you’d have to be a Sterling enthusiast, in which case, NP all day long. BUT...when i first saw the picture, I thought “Wow, an ‘80s Olds Omega in great shape...”
You can have mine.
Skiing. You’d use it if you just wanted to put your kit in the ski bag through the rear centre armrest. All the You’re-a-pee’in cars used to have them.
That way you don’t get a ton of snow in the trunk putting your kit away.
ND. It’s a 10-year old Beemer, it’s only a 4-series, and that rear-end is a crime against humanity. It LOOKS like someone’s homebrew. Well done, mind you, but still home brew.
...and now she’s dead.
I drove a similar Saab, but a hard top as a rental back in...’76? I had to fill it up and the station, which at the time was Full Service(!) checked the oil, etc. Curious, because it was a rear-opening hood, I got out and had a look at the peppy little engine, and it was beautifully laid out as opposed to my ‘74 Old…
Scared for their lives? Maybe. But I’m not totally buying it. Scared of losing power? ABSOLUTELY!
The problem is that since T**** gave them permission, Q IS the party!
OK, call me crazy but...a used MX-5 convertible would be a lot less and more fun. BMW STILL means Broke My Wallet, even aftermarket. ESPECIALLY aftermarket.
Sounds like someone’s bending the Johnson Rule.
Wasn’t there a Pontiac GT or something in the ‘90s with that colour scheme?
