This is a really dumb thing to care about, and publishing an article about it just panders to the dipshits that do.

I’d much rather have someone with treated and monitored depression or anxiety in a cockpit than untreated. Untreated depression or other mental illnesses is how you get flights that suddenly go straight into the ocean or ground for no reason. Obviously more severe conditions should still preclude flying such as manic…
If the rest of the show is as good as this episode, we are in for a wild ride!
if someone is depressed, I’m not certain suicidal thoughts are absent in his/her head.
Well apparently you can take comfort in knowing that right now, if they have those thoughts they are going completely untreated!
This is a difficult situation. Although the issue is brought up in context of the FAA, many are terrified to use mental health resources — especially if those resources are company provided. True or false, there is a perceived threat of confidentiality breach — after all, they are hired by and paid by the company.
People with government security clearances face the same problem. Seek mental health care and you’ll lose your clearance and thus lose your career. It’s an awful thing to do to people.
Buddy, you know you are not gonna. Not in any country that has any sort of functional aviation oversight authority, maybe North Korea is hiring or something. You ain’t gonna get there though, because your ass is also on the Federal no fly list at this point too.
I miss the days of humans — even one who weren’t that good at their jobs — working for AVC. At the very least, there’d have been some mention of Chloe Troast getting her first breakout sketch in a bizarre Little Orphan Annie bit.
If they’re gonna halfass an article with AI, they could at least halfass a review with AI.
It’s in lieu of a Jim Spanfeller staff.
Just realized as I noticed the writer as AV Club Staff. Interesting...
I love how ChatAVC decided just to stop writing this article midstream. Like “Yeah, I’m going back to plotting humanity’s demise, I can’t be bothered with this show anymore.”
re: “Stream The Curse now on Paramount+”...
I pay for P+ through Amazon so I can (still) watch Survivor... but this much-awaited show does NOT appear, no matter how I Search for it. Ugh.
Apparently, it’s also a Showtime thing, which is a whole other package or whatever... I guess when all the episodes have dropped, I…
I am so out of touch with popular music. I’m about to start yelling at clouds to get off my lawn. My pressing questions are: What about the “Try that in a Small Town” guy? Also, what about the “Rich Men in Richmond” guy? These weren’t the same guy, right? Yeah, I’m probably going to miss the Grammys again this year.
Schadenfreude a new buzz word these days? I have seen it 3 or 4 times in the comments this week.
The Grammies? They still have those? All kidding (and the Grammies’ irrelevance and uselessness) aside, I did get a little chuckle of schadenfreude from Wallen’s snubbing. That guy was soooo unbearably godawful on his SNL appearance, and I’m not even referring to any of the controversy around it (though that certainly…
There should be a law that says you can’t get a biopic until you’re dead. Elon still has so many more rakes to trip on and this movie will miss those.
Why? We already have Glass Onion.
Did not expect the av club to add this to their sparse tv club coverage these days, but it does sound different
