Shocking.
Shocking.
Well shoot, I guess that permaban made it to this new site.
That sucks, and if any staff can read this, please hear my plea.
I’ve been visiting and commenting on Jezebel since it started and I don’t even know why I was permanently banned from commenting. I’m not a troll, and while my opinion can be considered a bit…
Woohoo! I’m looking even more forward to seeing how this new site compares to the old site (which we all know had gotten increasingly worse over the last years)
Welcome Back Jezebel!
Just checking to see if my (arbitrary) permaban on Jezebel stuck around in this iteration.
Logically I know, but it was hammered into me as a child and I still bring all of my canned goods to a boil before eating.
Plus, it tastes better.
My initial reactions as well!
It sounds like you needed a drink or a bong hit before watching.
Still hilarious!
I love the idea of them spoofing all the geriatrics who are still touring!
The one thing I feel bad about with this whole musk/twitter fiasco is that I never had an account to quit.
It’s an old buzzword that’s making a comeback.
I keep trying to make fremdschamen happen, and it still hasn’t.
I had the same questions! Also, why should country dude who covered a black woman’s song get an award for it?
That’s no snub, that’s common sense.
As if there are black people in Espanola!
But I am looking forward to checking this show out, especially now that I know it’s in NM.
Oh, I can look away. And I do.
Thank you. This is the information I wanted that this post did not provide.
I’d like to see the final agreement.
Dancing in the streets is a cringe-y attempt by two middle-aged men who should be embarrassed about it.
I’ve been saying this for years! Those covers make it sound like some sweet song. Nobody captures the mood the way Cohen wrote it, except Cohen.
I get irritated every time I hear one of those trash covers. And the fact that so many people love it based on those covers.
Yes!
I like Kate Bush, but I got sick of hearing this song the first time around. Certainly didn’t need a second garbage round.
I was thinking how grateful I am that I haven’t heard too many of these - but #1 - *chef’s kiss*
Both of those dudes should have retired long before they allowed that to happen.
My sister works for Disney and before the writer’s strike ended, all she could think of was how it affected her livelihood. Literally no mention of the writer’s livelihoods. (she had to take every Friday off, unpaid)
