This may be an unpopular opinion but many of my Pro-life friends seem to be more Pro-birth instead of pro-life. Many arguments fall in the scope of “don’t do the deed if you can’t live with the consequences” which is woefully lacking in empathy IMO.  They just care that the mother gets their perceived “come-uppance”

Its everyone’s business when children are brought into this world who were not welcomed or wanted. I’m all for terminating pregnancies for women who are not ready to face the challenge of parenthood. I’m trying to understand how they became pregnant in the first place - it might help to put more and more effective

Okay, here’s the plan... We need to pit Florida against Texas somehow and let them all kill each other off.  We give POC 1 month to evacuate.

The so-called “Pro-Life” movement has always ardently opposed any reasonable and effective measures for actually reducing the demand for abortions - things like comprehensive sex-education, easy and inexpensive access to birth control, affordable pre-natal and post-natal care, economic support for low-income mothers,

Seems like a lot of Texans share commonalities with the Taliban. Love of guns, and control of women. However I am concerned about Jan’s future plans regarding her sex work. Clearly her birth control failed her. Does she have other ideas about how to protect her health and prevent more unwanted prenancies? I am

Forget about the whole bs about deputizing private citizens to do the government’s work ... which is outrageously transparent ... how is the law not simply unconstitutional on the “six week” period on it’s surface?

So glad you were able to get fit in! Man, I can’t even fathom the panic when you realized the situation you were in with the new law. What a nightmare.

LW1 seems to imply that they’ve talked about how the relationship would work going forward and a threesome is part of it.

I read an interesting bit on Malicious Compliance about how to effectively make a data set useless... and while it is tempting to harass high profile figures, most data managers can easily account for that.  They key is to flood the database with random, inconsistent, poorly structured data such that the data set as

Same here- Granny Smiths are hard and bitter, just like me.

Yep, but it’s not like they could read the code anyhow.

I grow my own tomatoes in the brief summer we have in Calgary and it always astounds me how much more flavour they have than the store-bought varieties. I saw a documentary that explains why, and it’s very similar to this story. Basically, tomato plants that big growers use are genetically selected for quick, fecund

I’m curious about that, too. I haven’t seen how they tend to implement this snitching situation. I’m hoping that, like this bill’s authors, it’s a dumb implementation. For example if it’s a website without a ton of security built in, then all pro-choicers should let loose the dogs of war and keep the queue filled with

I can only imagine how that will go over ‘Honey, let’s watch gay porn tonight, I’m sure that will get you nice and hard!’

I’m a Granny Smith die-hard

I’ve never had a bad Honeycrisp that was ripe. Honeycrisp for life.

you’re missing the part where you tell people that brown grass does not always equal dead grass... If you haven’t watered enough, your grass might have gone dormant, which is not dead. depending on the variety, it could be back with more water, or when the weather cools a little, or next year....

This article is missing the punchline where Sting bought, bottled, and labelled somebody else’s award-winning crop.

Old saying in the wine industry: “want to become a millionaire from your winery? Start with $10 million.”

Yeah, you can make a decent 25 dollar of wine if you’re willing to put in 35 dollars to make it. --Francis Ford Coppola
