Comparing Jazz Fest to Coachella is frankly insulting to the Jazz Fest. They aren’t even in the same cultural league.

The big acts like Kravitz, Elton John, etc. draw big crowds, of course, but the whole day has fantastic tributes to jazz history and heritage. We owe every single modern musical genre to jazz.

Feminine women dressed in men's attire is my biggest turn on

You have my admiration, if that counts for anything.

I think they really did not know and specifically because when you don’t know you can’t slip up accidentally, and Charles has said before he wants a granddaughter so I don’t think what he said was confirmation of that, it was just coincidence. 50/50 chance and all that.

These people are like outspoken atheists and PETA - I agree with them in theory, but in practice, they’re such fucking killjoys.

Does that mean you won’t tell the story until it’s relevant? Because I really want to hear this now.

I am still trying to figure out how to phase out the yearly “home” trips without feeling guilty. Until I was 27 I lived a cheap 2-hour flight away from my parents and grandparents who I love more than anything. Then I moved across the country and so far have had a good reason to go back every summer (good friends’

The best way to end these movies would be to Shyamalan-twist them and reveal that Grey was the murderer from The Fall all along.

Jamie Dorman silently dressing himself in the mirror has some serious serial killer vibes a la his performance in the Fall. This is not sexy. It is scary. Also maybe they decided to film it before writing it because really what’s the difference? Either way, it’s going to be a badly done collection of scenes organized

Yikes, that was incredibly rude. I can’t imagine interrupting my parents like that, let alone the president of the united states. Jesus.

Not cute. Poor home training. This is not “kids will be kids.” Most 12-year-olds would know better.

“Forgive me please, but that’s what you get when you play with people’s emotions.”

For Shakespeare, all the world was a stage. For Russell Crowe, all the world is his lawn. And we need to get off of it. And he’s keeping the ball.

It also infantilises the entire protest. Like, the only people protesting or getting angry are disobedient children. If someone could just control them and stop them from being so goddamn disrespectful and insubordinate everything would be FINE!!

That woman is afraid the police flooding her city are going to murder her only son and these fucking idiots think it is about discipline.

Are you really telling gay folks what is and isn’t funny to us? What we’re allowed to make fun of about our own community? You don’t really get to do that...

One of my friends, who is biracial and an Old like me, was on this ‘raising her boy right and keeping him from rioting’ train. I was pretty sure she just didn’t want her son to be murdered by cops. And that’s an amazingly sad thing; she was protecting him from a real danger.

This will be the defining image. When the dust has settled this image will be the defining image of the killing and the ensuing protests. This will be the image white people will patronizingly hold up to tell black people how they should act in the face of overwhelming generational adversity and oppression. I mean big

And white people everywhere are like, “Violence is bad, I could never condone it... yeah beat that child! and those looters!”
