When IGN's coverage is more reserved with a "let's wait and see" approach, and yours is a click-bait title with a "you won't like it because I don't like it" approach, you're not doing the gaming journalism thing well.
I think one of the main problems with Borderlands was that it had no set pieces, no story, no mythos, or greater universe, it was too whacky, and the landscape/mood only changed in the DLC (I only played the first one). Destiny looks to be miles ahead of those shortcomings.
I think you can be a few different races, then different classes, and then probable DLC.
My first thought was Too Human, a complete waste of time. But it was developed by Silicon Knights, I should have known better. Cybernetic Norse gods, what can go wrong, right?
