Can I trade all of these for some kind of Agent Carter closure? (Sorry Allison Tolman, you are awesome.)

Ok, this is the second time you didn't bother to read my comment, so this is my last reply. There's also no way a throwaway story about a Twitter meltdown is the place to have an extended debate about the relationship between mental illness and personal responsibility, among other things.

It's unfortunate that you didn't read my comment correctly. I said she also seems like a terrible person. If I'd intended to lump them together, which I agree is an unfair thing to do, then I would've said and, implying that the two things (mental illness and being terrible) are linked together. They aren't. But you

I think she's talented, but her constant self-sabotaging also makes me think that she has some other mental health issues that need to be addressed. Of course, she also seems like a terrible person, so

Seems like it might be both things?

Different sites are reporting different parts of this latest 'meltdown' (or maybe it's just a day that ends in 'day' for Banks), but all of the things she's tweeted have been really repugnant. Banks has pretty much burnt every professional bridge possible at this point -here's hoping she finally gets ignored for doing

I'd never heard of this show, and it wasn't great, but the set design/costumes were fun to see. DECADES is such a fascinating channel!

Yeah I'm just gonna back away here given the other posts…

I think this is a misread-this is about camp value, not condoning abuse. It's not a documentary.

Classic Joan!

I haven't read Bastien's article, and perhaps she takes this up, but I'm inclined to agree with you. One of my favorite quotes about Joan Crawford from one of my favorite actors, Sterling Hayden, says:
"There is not enough money in Hollywood to lure me into making another picture with Joan Crawford. And I like money."

I am especially excited because I just finished working my way through 90 episodes (it took 4 months) of PoI on Friday!

A quick scan of this person's posting history indicates that she has no concept of empathy and thinks that everyone who isn't like her is wrong. How do these people end up stumbling onto AV Club of all places?

100 times this! I already have a bunch of subscriptions for TV streaming and don't really want to add a music streaming service. Luckily there are free options out there, but your point about being able to own stuff resonates for me. I listen to music pretty much all day long and I do like having Google Play (RIP

This radio station is pretty great, the DJs have been incredible through what must be a tough time for everyone there. It's bad enough for the rest of us.

I've been listening to The Current and looking at pictures of the celebration, but I've never been to Minneapolis and so had no idea how exceptional things look. Obviously it's a big crowd by most standards, but it's nice to hear from someone who lives (lived?) there! :)

Yeah, but a good part of Cersei's suffering is just the chickens coming home to roost. As annoying as the Cersei POV chapters were, I did find them kind of fun to read because it becomes increasingly obvious that she likes the idea of governance better than actually governing, and that she is not nearly as clever as

I really wish they'd do more 'always drunk/paranoid/incompetent' Cersei and less 'mother out for vengence' Cersei.

Yeah, Steven Spielberg came to mind right away. Dee Rees directing and Spielberg producing…
