I’m so relieved someone else had the exact same thought as I did. Between the final confrontation you just described and Tilda’s ridiculous ‘I’m talking to you but I’m really talking to the audience’ graveside monologue, I don’t know how I’m going to make it to the final. I almost gave up after episode 9, but here I

I remember where I was. I was sitting in a Washington Mutual (remember those, lol) on the Upper West Side of Manhattan opening a bank account because I’d just moved to NYC the week before. The guy helping me took a phone call while I was sitting in front of him (which I remember thinking was rude, but then I also

I keep looking at the replay and I can’t figure out what Karius could’ve been thinking-Benzema’s leg is RIGHT THERE.

There are truly no winners here.

I really, really hope Zverev can save us from an Isner/Carreno Busta final.

In case anyone wonders why the animated categories are often a Pixar-voting shit show:

Winston Duke was incredible in ‘Person of Interest’ a few years ago, so I was very excited to see him in this and he didn’t disappoint! He is so charismatic, and he exudes intelligence.

I was in Montreal briefly for a conference a few years ago and found that my (rudimentary, rather Parisian) French was immediately met with English. Everyone was lovely about it, but after a couple of days I stopped trying and just went with English. I was mostly downtown in very touristy places, but I’m hoping to go

I can see an argument for the second penalty, but I think it was a soft penalty at best.

This was a fun match, but neither of those were penalties.

I’m at the Avacado every day! It’s nice to see a lot of familiar avatars. They also have a Jeopardy discussion, but the thread on the Disqus channel you linked has more regular folks on it.

Back before the Kinjapocalypse, everyone’s favorite rapping dinosaur posted this every day, and there was enthusiastic participation. It’s kinda sad to see the lack of comments now, but I’m glad he’s stuck with it.

Yep, that’s the song! Of course it has its offensive moments, but I can’t get past how original and hungry it sounds.

I think all the Eminem stans didn’t bother to read the article, they just saw the grade and decided to vomit all over the comments section. None of these idiots are even disagreeing with any of the points Josh brought up.

The first Eminem song I heard was a song on the Rawkus compilation ‘Soundbombing’. I was struck by how different it was from the other tracks, but how committed it was to the kind of ‘underground/backpacker’ rap sound of Rawkus. I liked Em’s flow a lot.

Now playing

Your comment reminded me of this insanely tense scene in ‘SouthLAnd’ (warning-gun violence, not for the squeamish):

I’m just assuming it’s Dadbod? (Tsonga’s partner had a baby in March)

Why is there a spoiler for a headline but then a warning about spoilers at the beginning of the article? The cat’s kind of already out of the bag given the headline, isn’t it?

Sure, I imagine some of them do. But in my experience it’s less that students who are being academically dishonest pay for their work than it is that they’re sharing work within their social circles. Many of the discipline cases involving academic dishonesty that I’ve seen are situations where someone shares exam

It’s not difficult in most cases. At the smaller institution I was at, eventually enough instructors are swayed by the student ‘really trying’ or something along those lines to give them passing grades. It reflects badly on schools, especially small schools that pride themselves on nurturing individual students, to
