I'm enjoying it immensely. Just two episodes left, so I'll probably finish this weekend.

Thanks so much for this! I think between this and '12 Monkeys' (which I'm almost done with) I'm all set for sci fi stuff..

If I could upvote this some more, I would.

Wow, high praise! One last thing, if I may-do I have to watch from the beginning? It's getting late in the summer to start a new show and my 'catching up on stuff I missed' time is fairly full for now.

Ooh, I've heard good things about that show. Do you recommend it?
Also, I love seeing accurate location shooting in NYC, it makes me miss the city (although I can't imagine moving back there now).

Watch the first 5 or 6 episodes and then stop and read what happens in the remaining episodes somewhere on the internet so that you don't waste another 4-5 hours.

I really wish they'd gone this route on the show..

Absolutely no snark intended-they really should've just let you write this show!

I was trying to laugh it off, but really that was only to keep the overwhelming sense of 'I wasted how many hours on this horrible show!?' at bay.

I really appreciate your attempt to further the conversation, but after having a look at the other comments here, I think it's best to just drop it.

You should watch more TV.

I am super worried for Shayla, she's like this little ray of sunshine in the show so far..

Good points all around. I don't think he's evil at all, but he's definitely an asshat.

So, first off, the condescension here is staggering-I'm not even sure this is worth replying to.

And you do?

Every week I've been impressed with the representation of NYC. I lived in Manhattan for several years and my gosh watching this show brings back memories.

The only thing that made it slightly less upsetting was Elliot's hesitation, and the way he had to really get to a certain place emotionally to be able to do it. Someone like Wellick, on the other hand, wouldn't have had a second thought.

I also feel fairly confident in thinking that if the roles were reversed, he would've not only done the same thing, but then lied about it-at least she confronted him.

I can't figure out how Craggs could possibly not be some kind of sociopath, right? How can anyone that is a 'nice person' continue to justfy/stand by the kind of personal damage (to a person who is not a public figure, despite his surname) done by that 'reporting'? Even on Twitter, some Gawker media editors are

I think it's a fair question to ask. The way I see it, Gakwer used to be a NY media industry gossip rag, but they seem to want to have it both ways, to try to be a place of reportage and also a tabloid/blog. It's not that I think they're trying to be a legit news site or anything, but that their editorial intentions
