Oh gosh, I forgot about Lifehacker-my favorite of Gawker Media for sure.

I think this is what makes me angry about this. However you want to judge the guy and his solicitation of a sex worker, or the infidelity, etc., I can't even fathom how this has 'compelling public interest'-a term I learned about back in the stone age when I was in j-school. Why does the public need to know this? He's

Meh, even with other 'surviving communities' I don't think the world is that compelling.

I hope so?

Don't ever watch Friday Night Lights. Or Rectify. Those are my all-time crying shows.

It's weird how all three of them-Ethan, Pam, and Pilcher, have been wrong in their various estimations of human nature. Pilcher in particular is just awful at reading people.

Good observations, as usual. I was a little frustrated by Pilcher's silence this episode-he hardly said anything. It would've been cheesy for him to monologue in his office during that last moment ('well we see how much you value your precious truth now! *twirls mustache'), but I would've liked a little more dialogue

I'm hoping this is a one and done. It's not that I haven't enjoyed the show (rough spots/plot holes aside), but I don't find the world and the mythology particularly sustainable.

As much as I love the show, for example, I find the episode titles for Orphan Black to be cumbersome more often than not.

Too soon.

To be fair, you're the one the brought up the AFI list. "Did the medium really peak in 1941, AFI?"

Pretty sure that's not the hill you want to die on (no offense to Mr. Sherman), and this incredible documentary is some of the best evidence for that.

I mostly agree (esp. with your second point about re-population), but I'm gonna stand by my original complaint. I think this actually goes back to a larger problem with the plot/story/writing (it seems like there are problems on all three levels). They only showed the end effect of what the Dr. said had happened, and

(and don't let your husband drive!)

I just wanted to say, as a parent of an awesome little boy who is also autistic (and just fine the way he is!) , that I appreciated all of your posts during the run of 'Parenthood' so much. I can't tell you how helpful they were. (I guess it's kind of OT, but it crossed my mind reading what you've said here, which I

Snark aside, I love Megan Hilty singing 'They Just Keep Moving the Line'-thanks for the link to a newer version. I'd watched the show version a few times-her voice is fantastic.

I am HERE for all the shade in this interview. Diana Rigg can get it.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that noticed that about 90% of these 'Ninja Warrior' contestants are trustafarian bros.
